Shirley F. Sattleberg passed away December 2, 2009. Born November 20, 1932 in Williamsville she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (nee Luchterhand) Jacobi. Shirley was a graduate from Amherst Central and worked in the admissions office at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Shortly after, Shirley went to work for Dr. Fugitt & Dr. Lillie Office, Kenmore where she was the administrator. Shirley's whole world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and especially enjoyed going their cottage in Apsley, Ontario, Canada.
Shirley is survived by her husband Richard A. Sattelberg of Amherst; mother of Thomas (JoAnne) Sattelberg of Cicero, NY, John (Barbara) Sattelberg of Pendleton, Daniel (Carol) Sattelberg of Lockport and the late David Sattelberg; grandmother of Patricia, Christine, Kayla, Jessica, Thomas and William; sister of Edward Jacobi of Williamsville and Karen (Roger) Dunnewold of Clymer, NY; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Please visit ww.pruddenandkandt.com to leave an online condolence to the family.
