Alan Michael Flowers, born on April 20, 1988 in Amherst, NY passed away suddenly, Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Alan was currently a student at Niagara County Community College, where he was pursuing his dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. He also worked full time as a Certified Nursing Assistance at Beechwood Continuing Care Facility in Getzville, NY, where he was loved and accepted by all staff and residents. Alan was a Certified Personal Training Audio Technician and an excellent musician, an accomplished saxophonist, pianist and drummer. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Lockport, New York which he joined at the age of ten.
Alan was known for always having a big smile on his face. He was loved and accepted by everyone and could even make a stranger smile. He had a loving and gentle heart and was always willing to give a helping hand whenever needed.
Alan leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Howard and Gloria Flowers, a sister Ashley (Alex) Bundy, a niece Zakia Flowers, a fiancé Holly Tester, a special brother Tarrence Owens, grandparents Nadine Doctor and Ella Wiley, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, September 21st from 10-11 AM in Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
