Obituary of Dorothea Bratt

Dorothea E. Bratt passed away September 12, 2013 in Odd Fellow &amp; Rebekah Rehab &amp; Health Care Center. Born in Buffalo on July 17, 1924 she was the daughter of Lester and Caroline (Theile) Herniman. Dorothea was an office worker for GM Powertrain in Tonawanda. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church, card clubs, and enjoyed bowling, sewing, cooking and especially being a grandma. Dorothea was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Bratt on January 21, 2009. Dorothea is survived by her children Carolyn (Timothy) Paterson of Lockport and Garrick Bratt of Pendleton; grandmother of David (Deidre) Bratt, Russell Bratt, Lindsay (Aaron) Kaples, and Daniel (Hayley) Paterson; great grandmother of five; sister of the late Kathleen Messer; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, September 16th from 4-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Park. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 4094 would be appreciated. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Monday, September 16th from 4-7 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.
