Obituary of William Garvey

It is with great sadness that the family of William Garvey announces his passing at the Niagara Hospice House September 5, 2013 at the age of 75. Born September 7, 1937 in Allport Pa., he was the son of the late James f Garvey and Pearl Fleeger Garvey.
William was a UAW Retiree from Harrison Radiator. In his retired years he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed carpentry, movies, and playing cards.
William is survived by his wife, Marlene Rinaldo Garvey, father of John (Marianne) Garvey, Walter (Carol) Garvey, Richard (Josephine) Garvey, and his late daughter Diana Jeff Blake.
Grandfather to Mary John Kloch, Katie Garvey, Michelle Youroshowski, Lyndyann Richards, William Garvey, Marybeth Drahms, and Cody Blake; Great Grandfather to Frank Yuroshowski III, Shawn Pearce, Kymarri and Kymonni Bogart. He is also survived by sisters Shirley Sutter, Kay Sherwood, Eve Pierce, brother Thomas Garvey and son-in-law Jeff Blake.
Friends and Family may call on Monday September 9 from 3 to 7PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY, where funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. The family wishes to thank Niagara Hospice for their kindness and support during this time and memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
