William P. Richter passed away September 1, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on April 5, 1947 in Buffalo he was the son of Richard and Evelyn (Lamgdon) Richter. William was a kosher caterer for Temple Shaarey Zedek in Amherst and a charter captain. He enjoyed music, cooking, and was an artist. William is survived by his wife Bernadette (Tramontana) Richter of Lockport; father of Jennifer Graf of Buffalo and Robin (Rick) Mullens of Florida; grandfather of five and one great grandchild; brother-in-law of Susan (Dennis) Reilly and Michael (Tina) Tramontana; also several nephews, nieces and many, many dear friends. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, September 7th from 9-11 AM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 AM. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
