Ronald F. Theel passed Friday, August 23, 2013 in Briody Health Care Facility after a lengthy illness. He was born January 1, 1939 in North Tonawanda, NY, the son of Arnold P. and Helen B. (May) Theel. He was a self-employed wood worker for several years in North Tonawanda. Ron served seven years in the National Guard; he enjoyed classic cars, the Arts and was a staunch supporter of wild life organizations.
Ron is survived by his wife Sandra (Myers) Theel; father of Andrea J. (Robert) Mayer of Lockport, Brenda (Kenneth) Morris of Middleport, and Kevin (Jennifer) Theel of Fayetteville, NC; he also is survived by his grandchildren, Marissa and Aaron Schultz, Carter, Gavin, Connor and Madelyn Theel and his sister Ruth (Frank) Graczyk of Columbia, SC.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the Autism Services, 4444 Bryant Stratton Way, Williamsville, NY 14221 would be appreciated by the family.
