Obituary of Patricia Thompson

Patricia O. Thompson passed away Saturday August 17, 2013. Born in Lockport on October 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Villella Oxley. Patricia worked at Lockport Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse for 37 years, retiring in 1996, after she retired, Patricia worked for 5 more years for Dr. Alrutz. Patricia was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, she enjoyed painting, gardening and loved helping others, with a kind and generous heart. Pat's true joy was spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Kelley (Bruce) Maddow of Amherst, Michael (Virginia) Thompson of Royalton, Brett (Dawn) Thompson of Lockport and Jason (Elaine) Thompson of Lockport. Grandmother of Ashley, Jacob, Taylor, Benjamin, Rebekah, Annagrace, Sarah, Bethanne and Kayleigh; great grandmother of Marleigh. Patricia was the sister of Marilyn (John) Hogle of Canandaigua.
Friends may call Wednesday August 21st 3 to 7 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday August 22nd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice or to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
