Obituary of Franklin Johnson

Franklin Delano Johnson passed away August 1, 2013. Born in Margaret, AL on January 12, 1944 he was the son of Elizjah and Viola (Mason) Johnson. Franklin worked for 26 years at Harrison Radiator retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Christ Community Church, Lockport and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and watching NASCAR. Franklin is survived by his longtime companion Sharon Chase; father of Ora Brown, Evon Wilson, Juanita Johnson, Franklin D. Johnson, Jr., Jason Johnson, Pam Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Denise Johnson and Michael (Jasmine) Johnson; grandfather of 30 and great grandfather of 22; brother of Elizjah (Louise) Johnson, Jr., Violet Fritts, Dot (Eugene) Ellis, Laura Wright and the late Sarah Hunt, David Johnson, Robert Johnson, and Lizzie Prince; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, August 9th at 11 AM.
