Patricia Wolcott Scharlau passed away July 8, 2013 in Newfane Rehab &amp; Health Care Center. Born in Lockport on June 28, 1940 she was the daughter of Herbert and Margaret (Tanner) Berndt. Pat was a licensed practical nurse and worked at Briarwood Manor. She is survived by her husband of 23 years Charles Scharlau of Lockport and the late Geroge Wolcott, who passed away in 1983; step mother of Thomas (Rena) Scharlau and Todd (Elizabeth) Tower; sister of Jean Miller of Rochester, Wanda Bobzien of Burt and the late John Berndt, Iva Wruck, Mary Austin and Katherine Nayman; she is also survived by her sister in-law Betty Wolcott and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 12th from 4-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM.
