John F. Culver passed away November 26, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Born August 19, 1945 in Lockport he was the son of Percy and Margaret (nee Smith) Culver. John served in the US Navy and worked in production for Harrison Radiator for 10 years. John is survived by his companion of 18 years Beverly J. Metzinger of Lockport; father of James (Mary) Culver of North Carolina, Yvonne (Ron) Hodil of Ransomville and the late Mark Culver; grandfather of six and great grandfather of three; brother of Mary Ann (Ted) Wagner of Lockport; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 1-4 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 12 NOON. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 would be appreciated by the family.
