Obituary of Robert Hughes

Robert W. Hughes passed away suddenly June 16, 2013. Born in Buffalo on December 27, 1985 he is the son of Susan T. (Sanderson) Hughes of Springville and Scott H. (Ardyth) Hughes of East Amherst. Robert was a 2004 graduate from Royalton-Hartland Schools, served in the US Navy and enjoyed music, hiking, photography and was a sports enthusiast. Besides his parents Robert is also survived by his sister Larissa Hughes and step-brother of Hayley, Hayden, Jonah, Seth, Evan, Asher, and Sydney Philyaw; also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friends, Ellen &amp; Louis LaPort and their children Alia, Louie, and Veronica. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 20th from 4-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 7 PM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
