Obituary of Kevin Kenney

Kevin Thomas Kenney passed away June 6, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on November 26, 1947 in Lockport he was the son of Mark and Josephine (Donatelli) Kenney. Kevin graduated from DeSales High School and attended Niagara County Community College. He served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1971 where he was awarded the Defense Service Medal. Kevin worked in the cellular communications industry from 1984 to 2007 retiring as the Manager of Implementation from AT&T. Kevin was a member of All Saints Parish and enjoyed golfing, distance bicycling, brewing beer/growing hops and literature.
Kevin is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jacqueline (Forgie) Kenney of Lockport; father of Jennifer (Jonathan) Sulkow, M. Jason (Christa) Kenney, and Caitlin Kenney; grandfather of Sean Sulkow; brother of Patrick (Kim) Kenney, Gerald (Kathryn) Kenney, Michael (Barbara) Kenney, Mary Jo (Gert Flax) Kenney, and Susan (H. Craig) Hugill; also survived by several nieces, nephews and his faithful canine companion Maeve.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, June 10th 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 11th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
