Obituary of William Terrance O'Rielly

William Terry “Bus” O’Rielly passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at North Gate Manor, Wheatfield.  Born in Lockport on May 15, 1950, he was the son of the late William E. and Margaret Archie O’Rielly.  Bus graduated from DeSales High School Class of 1968 and worked as a General Manager for Hayes Rent-to-Own, in Lockport for many years.  He was a member of the Wilson Yacht Club and the Wilson Lions Club.  He enjoyed boating, waterskiing, swimming, playing bid-pitch and going to watch the Buffalo Bills as a 30 plus year season ticket holder.  Bus especially loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughter.

Bus is survived by his daughter Jennifer (late John) Campanella and granddaughter Valentina Campanella.  He was the brother of Annette (Doug) Switzer and the late Kevin O’Rielly.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, his former wife Cynthia Newman Haun and good friend Jim Oldham.

Friends may call on Tuesday June 27th 4-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 28th at 10 AM at All Saints RC Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.  In lieu of flowers memorials to Parkinson Disease, would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
