Obituary of Pat Temple
Patricia Ann (“Pat”) Temple (née Towle), 75, of Lockport passed away on November 17, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.
Pat was born in Laurel, Mississippi on September 25, 1944 to Harvey Towle and Clyde Crawley. She moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the age of 16 and settled in her beloved community of Lockport in 2002. Pat worked for over 20 years as a phlebotomist for Quest Diagnostics. Other roles included preschool teacher, realtor and nurse’s aide for the elderly. Pat also served as a volunteer paramedic for Richland EMS in Pittsburgh. She attended Edinboro University where she achieved an associate’s degree in education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Geneva College.
Pat is predeceased by siblings Alfred Towle, Johnny Towle, and Barbara Morgan, as well as by her daughter, Kimberly Joan Temple. She is survived by daughter Ainslie (Gary) Cooper, son Jeffrey (Shannon) Temple, and grandchildren: Ashley, Daniel (Emily), Collin and Alex.
Those knew Pat will miss her warmth, kindness, humor and selfless spirit. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and unwavering faith. Pat was an active member of First Bible Baptist Church in Lockport where she had many dear friends. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, painting and swim aerobics. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished pets.
Calling hours will be held Friday, November 22nd from 5-7 pm at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home with a memorial service at First Bible Baptist Church in Lockport to follow on Saturday, November 23rd at 11 am. In lieu of flower, please send donations to First Bible Baptist Church of Lockport, NY.
