Obituary of Lila Rose

Lila St. Onge Rose passed away September 9, 2019 in Elderwood at Lockport.  Born December 13, 1919 in Lockport she was the daughter of Ervin and Elida (Brewer) Criswell.  Lila worked for Harrison Radiator Div. of GM in production.  She enjoyed cooking, Sunday drives, and especially loved spending time with her family.  Lila was predeceased by her husband’s Joseph St. Onge in 1986 and Donald Rose in 2014 and son’s Joseph St. Onge and Kevin St. Onge.

Lila is survived by her children Kathy (George) Apolito, Daryl (Mike) St. Onge, David (Judy) St. Onge, Gary (Cheri) St. Onge, and Jeffrey (Mary) St. Onge; eighteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; siblings Marshall (Rosie) Criswell and Velva (Walter) VanBuren; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, September 13th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 14th at 10 AM in Christ Episcopal Church, 7145 Fieldcrest DR., Lockport.  Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
