Obituary of Alexander Fleming
Alexander ‘Red’ Fleming passed away June 2, 2019 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born November 14, 1940 in Buffalo he was the son of Alex and Rose Fleming. Red worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM in production for 17 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the UAW Retirees and the Retiree Travel Club. He was both a Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan and enjoyed bowling, walking, and going on cruises.
Red is survived by his wife of 47 years Donna (Chapman) Fleming; children Lisa (Mark Lacey) Richards, Sherri (Chris Brueckner) Fleming; siblings late, Cathy Andalora, Helen Strope, Bobby Fleming and Mary Fleming; in-laws Marcia Deeble and Nancy Bishop; also survived by his dog Abby and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 6th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, June 7th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
