Obituary of David Woods

David E. Woods passed away May 19, 2019 in his home.  Born June 4, 1938 in Lockport he was the son of Albert C. and Azalia (Crego) Woods.  David worked for Odd Fellows Health Care Facility for 7 years, Mount View HCF for 20 years, and Niagara County Social Services for 11 years where he was in maintenance at all locations.  He loved flowers running his own greenhouse, DE Woods Greenhouse from 1960-1999, enjoyed antique car especially his Corvair. 

David is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Anita (Prica) Woods; daughters Azalia (late Dennis Henry) Woods, Rose (Patrick) Mattle, and Daisy (Robert Sears) Woods; grandchildren Christina, Nicolette, Bianca, Dennis, Kyle, Allison, James, Jr., Robert, Hannah, Lillian, and Eli; great grandchildren Dominic, Essense, Genesis, Nico, Nailah, and Mariah; brother of the late Albert (Penny) Woods; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, May 22nd from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 23rd at 10 AM in Clinton Street United Methodist Church, 50 North Adam St., Lockport.  Donations to the church would be appreciated.
