Obituary of Dennis Filipovich

Dennis Joseph Filipovich passed away August 20, 2018.  Born July 15, 1951 in Lockport he was the son of the late Andrew G. and Kathryn R. (Wittcop) Filipovich.  Dennis worked in building maintenance for various local companies. He was an avid sportsman, loved his cars, and fished until the end. 

Dennis is survived by his wife Sandra (Wheeler); father of Mark, Brian (Kristy), Stephanie (Ricky) Paine, Michele Cook, and step-son Bryan Wheeler; siblings Linda (John) Sullivan, Daniel, and late Andrew “Steve”, Michael, and Patrick; grandfather of Natalie Gilland, Zane, Joshua, Dillion, Walker, Amelia, Ashton Filipovich, Courtney, Lauren Paine, Wyatt Cook, and late Stone Filipovich; three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

We have already celebrated the life of Dennis therefore there will be no prior visitation.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 2nd at 1 PM in Krull Park, Site #13, Olcott, NY.  In lieu of flowers donations to Stone’s Buddies, The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, 1028 Main St., 4th Floor, Buffalo, NY 14202 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
