Obituary of Karen R. Sharpe

Karen R. Sharpe was born on March 27,1961 in Newfane, New York to the late Adelbert J. and Marian R. (Golden)(Adams) Sharpe. Karen has resided in Hartland/Gasport her entire life.

Karen enjoyed many summers at the family cottage on Weller's Bay, Ontario and winters in Florida at Panama City Beach with her parents.

Karen is survived by her sister, Nancy L. (John) Smith of Lockport and brothers, Roger (Joanne) Adams of Lockport, John (Georgia) Adams of Gasport, Ronald (Rosemary) Adams of Lockport and Charles D. (Shelley) Sharpe of Goldsboro, North Carolina. Karen is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews all of whom she loved and enjoyed.

The family would like to thank the staff of Absolut at Gasport for the wonderful care and compassion they have given Karen since she became a resident on November 2, 1999.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 21st at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.  Donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
