Obituary of David C. Raff, Sr.
David C. Raff, Sr. passed away comfortably in his home May 20, 2018. Born September 28, 1939 in Buffalo he was the son of the late Carl W. Raff and Dolores (Rehrer) Raff and step-son of the late Mildred (Goetzman) Raff. David graduated from Lockport Senior High School and started working at Harrison Radiator right after graduation. He had to have his mother sign papers for him to do an apprenticeship because he was too young. David worked as a Tool & Die Maker for over 30 years at Harrison Radiators. He was a member of the UAW, was a lifelong outdoorsman, and he enjoyed working with his hands on anything that sparked his interest. He loved cars, stock cars, and bicycles and tools of any kind. David was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Harrison) Raff on December 10, 2007.
David is survived by his children Karen (late John) Schrader, David (Julie) Raff, Jr., and Elizabeth (Todd) Tower; grandchildren Jason (Christine) Weibel, Andrea Weibel, David (Adam Vasquez) Raff, Jessica (Sal Tabone) Raff, Stephanie (Thomas) Shetter, Derek Tower, and Autumn (Michael) Harvey; great grandchildren Natalie Wagner, Lillian Weibel, Jamison Weibel, Morrison Shetter, Madelynn Tower, Aiva Tower, Arianna Harvey, Dominic Harvey and Naiten Shorter.
