Obituary of Olga M. Rehm

Please share a memory of Olga to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Olga M. Rehm passed away April 9, 2024 from complications of COVID. Born September 27, 1938 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Karl and Viola (Pless) Fitzner.

For the last 35 years, Olga tirelessly battled MS. When first diagnosed, she bravely served in clinical trials which informed future treatments for MS patients. She was so incredibly STRONG.

She loved the Buffalo Bills, shit kickers, and scary movies.  She was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed long walks along the Erie Canal with Ed.

She will be remembered best for her unconditional unending love of her husband of 65+ years Ed, her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. And, of course, swearing in German. She was absolutely the Best Mom Ever!

She believed in God and the power of prayer. She was also a proud home health aid for several years.

Olga is survived by her husband Edward Rehm; children Edward (Kim) Rehm, Douglas (Judy) Rehm, and Julie (Bruce) Rehm (Szabo); five grandchildren: Chelsey, Cameron, Carson, Gwenyth and Andrew; one great grandchild Charley Jo; and sister Shirley Ciliberto.
