Obituary of David W. Long
David W. Long passed away suddenly April 5, 2024. He was born on February 4, 1951 in North Tonawanda, NY a son of George and Geraldine (Brown) Long. David proudly served our country in the United States Navy as a machinist’s mate. He was a mechanic for Ridge Road Express for 29 years. David enjoyed cars , going to car shows, working on his truck and collecting NASCAR memorabilia.
David was predeceased by his wife Brenda (Zobrist) Long; daughter Tracey Palmeri; sister Charlotte Long. He is survived by his companion Loretta Nuhfer; son Brian (Tammy Curry) Long; grandchildren Alexander and Alyssa Long.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday April 10, 2024 from 4-7PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee Street. Private graveside services will take place in Acacia Park Cemetery.
