Donald E. Tuper Sr. passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at Niagara Hospice House. Born on December 2, 1941, in Fort Covington, New York, he was the beloved son of the late Leonard and Pearl (Hutchins) Tuper. 

Donald dedicated many years of service to Xerox Corporation in Webster, New York, where he worked as a product tester. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially spending time on the golf course, playing dominos, and sharing moments with family and friends. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, his sense of humor, and the love he had for his family.

Donald is survived by his sons, Donald (Marilyn) Tuper Jr., Scott Tuper, Ricky Kuhn, and Kenny (Neyma) Knudson. His sisters, Della Kroth and Ellie Robinson; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Shirly Mae (Snyder) Tuper; his children, Gina Knudson and Gary Tuper; and his brothers, Carl Tuper, Wayne Tuper, and Francis Tuper. 

A Celebration of Life will be held allowing family and friends to come together and honor his memory togther. Details will be shared once arrangements have been made. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Lockport Memorial Hospital and Niagara Hospice House for the kindness, compassion, and exceptional care provided to Donald and the comfort shown to his family during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Donald's memory to Niagara County Hospice House would be greatly appreciated. The family is grateful for all expressions of sympathy and support during this difficult time.
