Joy L. Dunch passed away July 22, 2026.  Born February 1, 1983 in Gyeongju, Gyeongsang-Budo, South Korea, she was the daughter of Karen L. (Jones) Dunch and the late James A. Dunch, her love for her father was immeasurable.  Joy was a proud cargo carrier for many years, working for Virginia Transport LLC, where she won several awards including “Cleanest Truck Award” and the “On Time Award”.  She enjoyed her Harley Motorcycles, traveling from Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.  She had a strong love for German Shepherd dogs.  Joy was and will forever be loved by all who knew her.

Besides her mother Joy is also survived by her sister Andrea (James Conrad) Dunch; nephew Lucas Blaser; aunts Beth (Patrick) Dunch, Kathleen (Wayne) Hill, and Roberta L. Harper; uncles David (Renee) Dunch and Thomas (Lydia) Dunch; also several cousins and friends.  She was also predeceased by her aunt Marilyn (late Jack) Behm.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Tuesday, August 4th at 1 pm at Cambria Hill Cemetery, 4885 Cambria Rd, Cambria.  A celebration of her life will be at a later date.
