Stella L. Ryndak passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport. Born in 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late August and Stella (Zelazny) Siuta. Stella worked as an administrative secretary at the University of Buffalo. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who called her “Babci”, which is Polish for Grandma. Stella loved attending Polish festivals and polka dances, which is how she met her husband, Joe. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, camping, gardening, and traveling. She was an active member of many ministries at St. Jude Church.

She is predeceased by her husband, Joesph J. Ryndak Sr. who passed away in 1983.

Stella is survived by children Joesph (Valerie) Ryndak, Carol (Bill) Petty, Marian (Andy) Pilecki, Tom (Shannon) Ryndak, Patricia (late Keith) Rohleder, Larry (Kiersten) Ryndak. Grandchildren Stephanie Ryndak, Joey Ryndak, Lisa (Kyle) O’Conner, Emily (Kevin) Sonnie, Susan Petty, Andrew (Kristin) Pilecki, Katie (Evan) Daruszka, David Pilecki, Kaitie (Nick) Hawkins, Madison Ryndak; William (Kara) Rohleder, Daniel Rohleder, Morgan Ryndak, and the late Joel Ryndak. Great-grandchildren Carter O’Conner, Piper O’Conner, Colton Sonnie, Rylee Sonnie, Barrett Sonnie, and Azalea Rohleder; Brother John (Diane) Siuta and Aunt Dorothy Zelazny

She is predeceased by her siblings Gus (Julie) Siuta and Joanne (John) Nickles.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Tuesday, June 23 from 4-8 pm at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 24 at 9:30 am at Our Lady Czestochowa Church, 64 Center Ave., North Tonawanda.  Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or Summit Life Outreach, 1622 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14301 would be appreciated by the family.
