Miguel A. Rivera Sr passed away June 9, 2026 in Elderwood of Lockport.  Born July 11, 1935 in Utuado, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Ramon and Juana (Ruiz) Rivera.  Miguel worked for the Buffalo Public School System where he was a Teachers Aide.  He loved playing the guitar and being with his family.

Miguel is survived by his sons Miguel A. (Michelle) Rivera Jr and Angel L. (Rianna) Rivera; grandchildren Miguel J. Rivera, Jonathan Rivera, Gabriella Rivera, Angel L. Rivera Jr, Adrianna Rivera, Julien Rivera, and Isaiah Rivera; sister Elba (Daniel) Figueroa; numerous nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he is also predeceased by his wife Marion (Speagle) Miguel, and siblings Pedro (Louisa) Rivera, Raymond (Nancy) Rivera, Gladys Toledo, Mario Rivera, George Rivera, and Mayda Rivera.

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services Monday, June 15th at 10 AM at Grace Chapel of Lockport, 5845 Locust St., Lockport.  Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Buffalo.
