Charles K. Aul passed away October 22, 2011 in Niagara Hospice House. Born May 2, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Lawrence and Nova (Minser) Aul. Charles served in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1967 earning the National Defense Medal and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He worked for 32 years as an electrician with the union IBEW 237 at Ferguson Electric at Nabisco, Niagara Falls retiring in 2002. Charles was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and Niagara Falls Country Club.
Charles is survived by his wife of 23 years whom he married in 1988, Joan (nee Greco) Aul of Lockport; father of Christine (William) Hurley and Carol Aguglia; grandfather of Louis Aguglia and Christian Baker; brother of Raymond Aul, Norman (Kathy) Aul, and Larry (Ellen) Aul; son-in-law of Rae (late Joseph) Greco; brother-in-law of John (Christine) Greco and Kathy (Joseph) Manley; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
