Robert Barning of Cheektowaga died peacefully on May 24, 2026. A lover of dogs and the outdoors he was proud to work with his hands as a carpenter and building a cabin in the southern tier, where he spent much of his free time. He is survived by his sons Chris (Kelly) and Nick, as well as his grandchildren. A memorial for friends and family will be planned at a later date.
