Bruce E. Mayer Obituary

Bruce E. Mayer passed away May 20, 2026 under the care of hospice.  Born January 23, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois he was the son of the late Darrell and Lorene (Hackenmiller) Mayer.  Bruce worked for Ineos, Battleground, Chocolate Bayou and League City, Texas.  He enjoyed reading, working on the computer, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and traveling.


 


Bruce is survived by his wife Linda Mayer; sons Christopher (Jillian) Mayer and Jonathan (Jordan) Mayer; granddaughter Caroline; sisters Rhonda (Mike) Kearns, Cheryl (Phil) Carlisle, Renee (Alwyn) Cohall, and Sheila (Andy) LaMont; also many nieces and nephews.


 


Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Saturday, May 30th from 9-10:30 AM with services following at 10:30 AM all in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.  In Lieu of flowers memorials to Marie & John Carr Hospice Home 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, AR. 72712,  https://www.circleoflifecare.org/, would appreciated by the family.
