Robert A. Urtel passed away April 23, 2026.  Born April 29, 1952 in Hartland, NY he was the son of the late Rudolph and Margaret (Steinbach) Urtel.  Robert worked for West Herr Honda in Lockport where he was a detail supervisor.  He had a lifelong love for cars, was a jokester, enjoyed working outdoors, and would never leave the house without a baseball cap.

Robert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen (Fellabick) Urtel; daughter Krystal Urtel; sister Sharon (late George) Chaffin; also many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his son Robert Urtel, daughter Kayla Urtel, and brother James Urtel.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Wednesday, May 6th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
