Mary Ellen Leffler Obituary

Mary Ellen Leffler passed away suddenly April 22, 2026.  Born in Lockport September 25, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Doris (Engasser) Winter.  Mary Ellen worked for Absolut of Gasport for over 20 years where she was a nurses aide.  She was a member of the Royalton Bible Church where she sang in the choir.  Mary Ellen enjoyed working in her yard and enjoyed gardening especially marigolds.  She was also always willing to give a helping hand.  Besides her parents Mary Ellen was also predeceased by her husband of 46 years Daniel Leffler.


Mary Ellen is survived by her siblings Laura (Howard) Dean, Edward (late Tina) Winter and Carolyn (Richard) Wagner; in-laws David (June) Leffler, Donald (Sandra) Leffler, and Marilyn (Maurice) Gustin; furry companions Miss Kitty and Tabitha; also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew, and great-great nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Tuesday, April 28th from 4-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 29th at 11 AM at Royalton Bible Church, 8457 Bunkerhill Road, Gasport, NY 14067.  In lieu of flowers donations to the church or a charity of one’s choice are appreciated by the family.
