Diane Lynn Porter passed away April 16, 2026 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born May 18, 1969 in Newfane she was the daughter of James and Sally (Murray) Gilson.  Diane worked at the University of Buffalo, Medical School where she was the Director of Recruiting.  She enjoyed hanging out at the pool, gardening, walking her dog, Rieley; and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her husband Brian Porter; sons Brogan and Aedan Porter; brothers Mark Gilson, Matthew (Stacey) Gilson, and David (Jennifer) Gilson; sister-in-law Elizabeth Gilson; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Sunday, April 19th from 12 -4PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 20th at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great R.C.
