Ronald Kenneth Myers Obituary

Ronald K. “Reggie” Myers passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on July 23, 1958, he was the son of the late Emmett and Rita Sanford Myers.


Ron proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1981–1988. He worked at Lock City Pizza for many years and enjoyed shooting billiards. He also loved playing the guitar, especially his favorite, “Smoke on the Water.” In his later days, while in hospice care, Ron discovered a love for painting and created a personal gallery in his home, leaving behind pieces that reflect his creativity and spirit.


Ron, known to many as “Reggie,” cherished the time he spent with his children and especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy.


He was predeceased by his wife, Debra (née Fawber) Myers, who passed away on June 4, 2023.


He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (David) Trunzo-Stansbury, and son, John (Krystina) Myers; his beloved grandchildren, Sammy Trunzo Jr. and Nicholas Stansbury; his brother, Donald (Patricia) Myers; and his good friend, Paul Root, who was his longtime partner in crime.


There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
