Gary Randolph passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 after a brief illness at Niagara Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. We honor and remember a remarkable man whose life was defined by love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. At 86 years old, he was the true pillar of his family. 

He was born on September, 3rd 1939 to his parents Herbert and Anna (Trinka) Randolph. Gary was drafted and served in the military from 1963 until 1965. He worked as an accountant at Swift Peters and McLaughlin in Lockport, NY for almost 30 years and then the Niagara Milk Co-Op for about 10 years. 

Gary is survived by his wife of 65 years Brenda (Groff) Randolph; children Thomas (Margot) Randolph and Deanna (Richard) Atkin; grandchildren Richard Atkin III, Christa (David) Licht, Joshua and Leah Randolph, Jaclyn Atkin, and Toni (Brian) Snyder, as well as 10 loving great-grandchildren. Brother Jim (Shirley) Randolph, brother- in law Thomas Groff, sister-in law Marcia (Paul) Wolfe, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. 

He is predeceased by his brother Roger (Late Linda) Randolph and John (Ginny) Randolph, and brother-in law R. Edward (Lucia) Groff. 

Gary had a gift for making people laugh. Whether it was a classic dad joke, his quick wit, or his playful way of warding off telemarketers, he brought joy into everyday moments. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy, tennis, and golf. Some of his hobbies over the years were bowling, horseshoes, and having a few drinks at Groff’s Tavern. He enjoyed taking many memorable trips with his wife Brenda and his sister-in law Marcia and brother-in law Paul. 

Most of all Gary loved spending his time with his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He created a legacy of love that will continue to live on through each of them. 

Family and Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 from 4PM-7PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home at 242 Genesee St., Lockport, NY 14094. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 at 10AM at St John’s RC Church,168 Chestnut St., Lockport, NY 14094. Burial will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice or Roswell would be appreciated.
