Kevin J. Vincent Obituary

Kevin J. Vincent passed away after a long illness.  Born February 1, 1954 in Medina, he was the son of the late James and Dellis (Costello) Vincent.  Kevin worked for the Lockport Housing Authority where he was a mechanic/maintenance for over 30 years.  He enjoyed chess, working as a chess coach and teaching his grandchildren and great grandchildren how to play.  Kevin was also a member of the YMCA Golden Knights.  He loved genealogy, riding his motorcycle, camping, and building go-karts. 


Kevin is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joyce D. (Emigh) Vincent; children Peter (Sara) Vincent, Christopher (Katie) Vincent, and Susan (Marcus) Phillips; step-children Sarah (Joel) Goodrich, Robert Spencer, and Amanda Travis; son-in-law Christopher Daningburg; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; siblings Doug (Linda) Vincent, Mark (Debbie) Vincent, and Cindy (Raymond) Reynolds; sister-in-law Ellen Vincent;  also several nieces and nephews.   Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his daughter Patricia Daningburg and brother Michael Vincent.


Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service Saturday, April 11th at 11 AM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
