Diane Marie McDonald passed away March 12, 2026 in Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.  Born December 31, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Russell and Marion (Feeney) Christian.  Diane worked for Sodexo in Williamsville where she was an Accounts Payable Clerk.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, listening to music especially the band Diamond Back, was an avid supporter of the VNVLVMC, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

  Diane is survived by her husband of 51 years Richard McDonald, Jr; son Christopher (Marcia) McDonald; daughter-in-law Kara McDonald; grandchildren Liam, Noah, Aeris, Elliot, Leonidas, and Imagine; siblings Russell Christian, Jr and Mary Ann (Robert) Zuber; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her daughter Heather McDonald and son Richard McDonald III.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Tuesday, March 17th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 18th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
