Bernadine M. Amlaw passed away March 4, 2026 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born September 12, 1932 in Fort Smith, Arkansas she was a daughter of the late Joe and Theresa (Bieker) Schoen.  Bernadine worked for the New York State Department of Labor in Buffalo where she was an interviewer.  She enjoyed gardening.  Bernadine is survived by her son, Jonathan (Angela) McManus; grandchildren Joshua (Alyssa) McManus, Alyssa Star McManus, and Jace McManus; brother Joe (LouAnna) Schoen; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her husband John Amlaw, sister Mary Agnes (Paul) Smith, brothers Raymond (Ricki) and Otto (Patty) Schoen.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Saturday, March 14th from 12 – 2 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
