Christine R. Roeser passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls on February 23, 1951. Christine was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Basher) Higgins. She loved gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Christine is survived by her husband of 56 years Herbert Roeser; mother of Lynn (Gerald) Hulton and Kevin (Kristen) Roeser; Grandchildren Nate, Brennan, and Kieran; Siblings Mark (Sharon) Higgins, Patricia Higgins, Maureen (Robert) Seifert, and Joanne (Arthur) Casilio; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings John “Jack” Higgins, Michael (Late Carolyn) Higgins, and Mary Ann (Late Albert) Derr.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, March 3rd from 3PM-6PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St, Lockport. A Mass will be held Wednesday, March 4th  at 10AM at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 6965 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Lockport. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
