John A. Granchelli passed away February 23, 2026 surrounded by family.  Born May 8, 1952 in Lockport, he was the son of the late Silver and Ruth (Kane) Granchelli.  He loved the outdoors, especially the beach, and spending time with his grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beth (Branch) Granchelli; son John (Joellen) Granchelli; grandsons Clarke Silver Granchelli and Reed Alexander Granchelli; siblings Joseph (Kathleen) Granchelli, Gary (Gail) Granchelli, Linda (Ron) Anzalone, and Cheryl (Mike) Connolly; sister-in-law Lynn Granchelli; also several nieces and nephews.  Aside from his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Robert Granchelli.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 27th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28th at 11 AM.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
