Nellie B. Stevenson Obituary

Nellie B. Stevenson passed away February 3, 2026 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  Born December 9, 1925 in Ann Arbor, MI she was a daughter of the late Dr. Albert E. Williams and Ada J. Payne Williams.  Nellie was a secretary and worked for Underwriters Laboratories in Melville, LI.  Prior to she worked at Hines Veterans Hospital in Chicago, St. Barnabas Hospital in NJ, and the Veterans Administration in San Diego.  Nellie was a member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Huntington, LI where she was a Youth Group Advisor and Christ Episcopal Church in Lockport where she was active with the church choir.  She was also a member of the Mayflower Society. 


Nellie is survived by her children Linda S. (late Richard) Few, Robert J. (Louise) Stevenson, and Joan C. (Dr. Marc) Buie; grandchildren Cynthia Few, Brian Few, Jesse Stevenson, Cheryl Buie, Lisa Buie Clark, Jean Phillippe Clark, Cayley Buie; great grandchildren Simon Few, Easton Few, Morgan Few, and Tully Clark.  She was predeceased by her husband John Stevenson and sister Mary Katharine Scribner.


Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service Saturday, February 7th at 11 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, 7145 Fieldcrest Dr., Lockport.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
