Veril Frank Crimi Obituary

Veril Frank Crimi passed away suddenly January 29, 2026.  Born in Lockport on June 21, 1940 he was a son of the late Veril and Anna (Fabian) Crimi.  Veril severed in the US navy from 1957 to 1961 being awarded the Good Conduct Medal.  He worked for Harrison Radiator Division of GM for 37 years, where he was a press operator retiring in 1999.


Veril is survived by his wife of 40 years Diane (Detschner) Crimi; daughter Tracy Crimi; siblings David (Joanne) Crimi, James (Kathy) Crimi, and Carol (Bob) Lucas; in-laws David (Audrey) Detschner, Duane Detschner, and Doug (Lisa) Detschner; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents Veril was also predeceased by his sisters Anne Ruth Kates and Karen (John) Sperduti.


Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Wednesday, Feb. 4th from 4-7 PM with services following at 7 PM all in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
