Jeanne M. Carpenter, of Barker, NY, passed away on January 22, 2026, at Niagara Hospice House.

Jeanne was born in Lockport on September 18, 1979, to Charles Carpenter and the late Molly (May) Carpenter. She was a graduate of Barker High School and was deeply involved with her family and friends throughout her life.

Jeanne was a devoted and proud mother to her daughter, Gabrielle, who was the center of her world. She cherished family gatherings and valued the close relationships she shared with those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Carpenter; her father, Charles Carpenter; her siblings Scott (Stephanie) Nielsen, Robin Wittcop, Sherry (Thomas) Poczowinski,Stacy Carpenter, and Michael Carpenter; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, Molly Carpenter, and her siblings Melissa Theil and Chris Nielsen.

A celebration of life will be held in Jeanne’s memory in the spring, with details to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne’s memory to Niagara Hospice House.
