Hillar Puusepp Obituary

Hillar Puusepp passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2025. He was born on August 3, 1945 in Heidelberg, Germany, a son of the late Ernst and Linda (Meos) Puusepp.  Hillar proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1965-1968, being awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was a production worker for Delphi Thermal in Lockport. Hillar enjoyed golfing, cooking, being on the computer and watching TV.


Hillar is survived by his wife Carol (Mays) Puusepp; children Kelli Puusepp and Colin Puusepp; step-sons Jeffrey Mark Laubacker and Kevin David (Michelle) Laubacker; grandchildren Alex, Nicholas, Krista, Kellen, Jamie, Logan, and Liam; furry companion Ricky. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his step-daughter Julie Ann Laubacker.


Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, January 22nd from 4-7 PM in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Flowers gratefully declined.  Donations to K-9 Playhouse, 6695 S. Transit Road, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
