Katherine E. Nenni, 88, of Williamsville, NY, passed away on January 16, 2026.

She was born on January 31, 1937, in Cohoes, New York, the eldest daughter of John and Mary Elsie Kelly Broderick. Katherine grew up in a large, close family and carried those early lessons of responsibility and care throughout her life. She graduated from Erie Community College with an associate degree in Nursing and dedicated her career to helping others.

On December 21, 1957, she married Joseph P. Nenni, whom she met on a blind date. Their marriage, spanning six decades, was built on steadiness, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to their family. A devout Christian, Katherine lived her faith through daily acts of kindness and service.

Katherine was active in several community organizations over the years. She participated in Recovery, Inc., where she valued the opportunity to learn, contribute, and support others. When her daughters were growing up, she was involved in the Girl Scouts, helping with activities and events. She was also a member of the League of Women Voters, reflecting her belief in staying informed and engaged in civic life.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Joseph of Williamsville, NY and their three children: Lynn Nenni of Ware, Massachusetts; Lisa Jackson of East Amherst, New York; and Paul Nenni of Clarence, New York. She is also survived by three grandchildren and and three great‑grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Jacqueline J. (Tom) Going, Lillian Broderick, and Carol A. (George) Fredette; and her infant brother James.

Katherine is survived by her siblings John J. (Diane) Broderick of Watervliet; William B. Broderick of Schagticoke; Mary Beth (Wayne) Malloch of North Yarmouth, Maine; Daniel E. Broderick of Lansingburgh; and Deborah A. (Joseph) Rosen of Pulaski, Tennessee.

She will be remembered for her steady presence, her commitment to family, and the quiet ways she supported the people around her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Thursday, January 22nd from 4-6 PM with services following at 6 PM all in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
