Lee R. Lewis passed away January 15, 2026 under the care of Buffalo Hospice.  Born August 30, 1940 in Ashland, WI he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Jane (Roddewig) Lewis.  Lee earned his Masters degree in education and taught for 35 years for Newfane Central School District teaching 6th grade Social Studies retiring in 1997.  He was a member of the Lions Club and golf leagues.  Lee enjoyed all sports especially baseball and basketball, watching both the NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills, reading, and going to breakfast with friends. 

Lee is survived by his two sons Craig (Susan) Lewis and Mark Lewis; granddaughters Kenna (David) Zuber and Cassidy (Eli) Lewis.  Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his wife Linda (Gailor) Lewis and sister Mary Shanley.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Friday, January 30th from 9 AM – 12 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Inurnment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
