Kimberly M. Frey passed away January 14, 2026, at Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born September 18, 1959, in Buffalo, NY, she is the daughter of Thomas J. Edbauer and the late Shirley (nee George) Edbauer.  Kimberly started working for Amica Insurance, where she was a Claims Adjuster and then was the Legal Secretary for Joseph F. Townsend Law.  She was currently working for the Town of Pendleton where she was the Building Department Clerk.  Kimberly was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church where she belonged to the Christian Mothers Group and was a former member of the Starpoint Central School District PTA.  She enjoyed attending plays at Shea’s, going to Buffalo Bandits games, going to wineries, going on cruises, reading, watching Castle and Rookie Blue, and various HGTV and Food Network shows.

Besides her father, Kimberly is also survived by her husband Christopher Frey; two sons Alexander (Nicole) Frey and Jonathon Frey; two grandsons Liam and Parker Frey; siblings Cheryl (William) Nechamen, Susan (Timothy) Dray, Denise Edbauer, Thomas G. (Regina) Edbauer, and David (Aliza) Edbauer; mother-in-law Nancy Frey; in-laws Valerie (Anthony) Ansuini and Stephen (Kim Ichida) Frey,; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Monday, January 19th from 4-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 20th at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd., North Tonawanda.  Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
