John J. Troy Sr passed away January 7, 2026.  Born December 6, 1951 in Lackawanna he was the son of the late John E. and Marion (McHazel) Troy.  John worked for Candlelight Cabinetry for 32 years where he was a truck driver.  He enjoyed fast cars, was avid fisherman, loved listening to music especially his favorite band Led Zepplin, and was also a Bills fan.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, married for 23, Anna Hackmer-Troy; son Joe (Nikki) Brandt; step-children Vincent (Meghan) Hackmer and Tom (Brittany) Angelo; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings James Troy and Debbie Troy; also niece Brandy (Garret) Weller, and nephews Brian Troy and Evan Troy.  Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his sons John Troy Jr and Michael Troy and sister Sandy Troy.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, January 21st from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
