Georgia Mae Lindo passed away on Thursday January 1, 2026.  Born December 5, 1947 in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Hardy and Earlene Smith.  Georgia was a nurses aide at Senior Meadows in Lockport for many years and worked briefly at Harrison Radiator.

Georgia was the mother of Zsa Zsa Gregory, Nathan Mack, Harvey Drain, Tamiko Johnson and the late Michael Hardy, Ava Mack and Jeffrey Drain.  She was the grandmother of Nikkita Mack (Shawn) Starks, Deontez Johnson, whom she helped raise in her house and 24 other loving grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.  She was also the sister of Frances Drain, Mamie Black, Patricia Hardy, David Hardy and the late Lemuel Hardy and George Washington Hardy Jr.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Friends may call on Thursday January 8th 11 AM-1 PM at Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 1 PM.  Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
