Jon Kevin Radice passed away on December 25, 2025, after a battle with illness. He was the son of the late Neal and Elva (Brown) Radice.
A gifted musician, Jon discovered his creative calling at a very young age; drawing, painting and making music. A graduate of the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, Jon devoted his life to sharing his passion for music and the arts. Jon played drums, bass, guitar and sang for many Buffalo-area bands.
During the late 1980s and 1990s Jon established the River Rock Café in Buffalo, NY. What began as a personal endeavor grew into a welcoming space for musicians and artists of all kinds, fostering community and artistic expression. In his later years, Jon took pride in playing music with his sons; writing, recording and creating video projects.
Jon is survived by his sons, Jon Radice and Ben Radice; siblings Neal Radice, David (late Barb) Radice, Susanalice (late Bob) Musall, Keith Radice, and Lori Radice; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Jon was predeceased by his brothers, Kevin Radice and Gary (Stacy) Radice.
A Celebration of Life to be held from 1PM - 4PM on Saturday, February 28th at the Kenan Center’s Taylor Theater – 455 Locust Street, Lockport NY.
