Carolyn Smith Obituary
Carolyn “Jane” Smith passed away December 24, 2025 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born May 3, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana she was the daughter of William and Alice (Test) Elliott. Carolyn worked for Tops Super Markets in Amherst where she was the Cheese Department Manager. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking and baking, and going to lunch with friends. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Clifford N. Smith in 2019.
Carolyn is survived by her children Karen (Josh) Menge, Suzanne Argo, Katherine Alexander, and William (Tammy) Smith; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; siblings James (Priss) Elliott and Mary (Dale) Jacobs.
Private graveside services was held in Acacia Park Cemetery Monday, Decmber 29th at 1:30 PM. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
